The Young Platform Step Referral Programme (“the Programme”) enables Users to obtain YNG Tokens, which can be used for future bookings on the platform, by inviting friends to download and subscribe to the Young Platform Step platform.
In order to participate, Users must accept these conditions, which are to be considered an integral part of the Young Platform Step Terms and Conditions. Words indicated with a capital letter that are not defined herein shall have the same meaning as that given to them in the Young Platform Step Terms and Conditions.
What are YNG Tokens?
YNG is the utility token of the Young Platform ecosystem, issued on the Ethereum blockchain as an ERC20 token. The YNG Token can be obtained within the Young Platform Step platform through performing a series of interactions, including the possibility of sending invitations to third parties. YNG Tokens are not freely traded (i.e. bought and sold) within the Young Platform Step platform and are therefore not susceptible to economic valuation within it, except in terms of utility alone.
How to obtain YNG Tokens with invitations
Users obtain YNG Tokens when either: (i) the invited person uses the invitation link (sent by a User) to create a valid Young Platform Step account that complies with our Young Platform Step Terms and Conditions; or (ii) the invited person completes the registration process on the platform (as defined in the Terms and Conditions) (iii) the invited person completes a “Claim” of steps taken through the appropriate function on the platform.
The User who sent the invitation will receive YNG Tokens as specified and quantified from time to time on the platform (it being understood that the number of YNG Tokens may vary at the discretion of the Company), following the completion of the procedure set out in points (i), (ii) and (iii) above by the invited person. If the invited person completes the registration and has also performed at least one “Claim” operation, the User who sent the invitation will receive the amount in YNG Tokens. The maximum amount of invitations each User can issue to obtain YNG Tokens is 10. It is understood that after reaching this limit, the User may still continue to issue invitations but without being granted any YNG Tokens.
Eligible invitations
An Eligible Invitation must be sent and used by a real person. Under no circumstances may a User use email addresses registered to them and/or otherwise in their possession to issue invitations and/or redeem YNG Tokens. In order for the User who sent the invitation to receive YNG Tokens, the invited person must have duly completed the Registration procedure and, if any irregularities are found during this process, the Company reserves the right not to recognise the said incentive if it is improperly used and/or redeemed. The Registration will not be considered eligible, and no YNG Tokens will be awarded, if the User who sent the invitation is misusing the incentives put in place by the Company and/or is otherwise violating the Terms and Conditions.
Using YNG Tokens
YNG Tokens may only be used pursuant to the Young Platform Step Terms and Conditions. Once obtained, the YNG Tokens will be displayed on the Profile of the User who sent the invitation. If a User’s Profile is terminated for breach of the Terms and Conditions or of this document, and the YNG Tokens have not yet been used by that User, they may no longer be redeemed. These YNG Tokens are issued for promotional purposes.
It is not possible to redeem YNG tokens by creating multiple accounts on Young Platform Step, and furthermore, if they are earned from different sources, they cannot be combined into one account.
If, for any reason, a User believes that there is a discrepancy in their YNG Token balance and/or other problems with crediting YNG Tokens, they should contact us at [email protected]. Young Platform may ask them to provide further information in order to make a decision on the matter. All decisions regarding the balance shall be final and at the sole discretion of Young Platform.
The User is responsible for any tax obligations arising from the redemption or use of YNG Tokens. If applicable, Young Platform may apply VAT on the services for which the YNG Tokens are used.
Sharing invitation links
Invitations should only be used for personal, non-commercial purposes. It is forbidden to publish or distribute the invitation links on commercial websites (e.g. websites where coupons can be purchased, Reddit or Wikipedia) or social networks (e.g. Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, etc.) or blogs. Users are prohibited from “spamming” by sending invitations. This includes sending mass emails, SMS or text messages to both known and unknown persons, as well as using automated systems or bots through any channel to distribute invitation links. Users shall also refrain from making any payment for the publication thereof.
Multiple invitations
An invited person may only use one invitation link. If they receive several invitation links from different Users, only the User associated with the invitation actually used will receive the amount in YNG Tokens.
Safeguard clause
If any provision of these terms is held invalid, void or unenforceable, such provision (or the part thereof that renders it invalid, void or unenforceable) shall be null and void and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
Termination and modifications
The Company may suspend or cancel this programme, or suspend or cancel a User’s ability to participate in it, at any time and for any reason.
The Company, therefore, reserves the right to close accounts or remove YNG Tokens in the presence of any activity deemed by Young Platform to be abusive, fraudulent or in violation of the Young Platform Step Terms and Conditions. The Company also reserves the right to review and monitor any invitation activity and to close accounts or modify invitations at our sole discretion, where we deem it fair and appropriate.
The number of YNG Tokens obtained by the User may change at any time.
Updates to the Terms
The Company may update these terms at any time and without notice. If these terms are modified, the modified text will be posted on the Young Platform website, applications, or services. It shall be valid from the date of its publication. Continuing to participate in the Programme after any changes constitutes acceptance of them.
