We wish to inform you about a process that will involve Young Platform over the coming weeks: the update of our contractual and disclosure documents to ensure full alignment with Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 — MiCAR.
This communication constitutes a service notice and does not represent a marketing communication nor an offer of crypto-assets.
What will change
MiCAR is the European regulatory framework governing services in crypto-assets. It applies to all service providers active within the European Union, including Young Platform, in accordance with the terms and deadlines set out in the Regulation itself.
To achieve full alignment, certain contractual and disclosure documents of the platform will be updated:
- The Terms and Conditions of our services;
- Information Notices and Policies;
- any separate communications regarding specific services that may require your explicit consent.
How we will update you
When any of the documents are updated, you will receive a dedicated communication containing:
- a precise indication of what has changed and why;
- a link to the updated version of the document;
- any actions required on your part (reading, acceptance, confirmation).
No changes will be retroactive: the conditions you accepted at the time of registration remain valid until the effective date of the new text, which will be communicated to you with the notice period provided for under the Terms and Conditions in force.
What you can do now
- Verify that you have access to the email address associated with your account: all communications regarding contractual updates will be sent there.
- If you have changed any relevant personal data since registration, please update it in your profile.
- Keep an eye on your inbox in the coming weeks: some communications may require your active attention (reading, confirming, or accepting the new text).
MiCAR represents the most significant milestone for the crypto sector in Europe since its inception. It is the regulatory framework that introduces harmonised standards of transparency, governance, and user protection for the crypto-assets industry.
Updating our documents is how we formalise this transition for our users.
