Alignment with Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 (MiCAR)
Publication date: 1 June 2026
Publication time: 3.01 pm
Young Platform S.p.A. (“Young Platform”) hereby informs its users, and in particular those active on the Young Platform Pro environment, that as part of our alignment process with Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 (“MiCAR”) and in compliance with applicable information transparency obligations, the current Young Platform Pro API infrastructure will be temporarily suspended and concurrently decommissioned starting from 25 June 2026. The reactivation of the service, featuring a completely revised set of APIs, is planned within the fourth quarter of 2026.
What changes from 25 June 2026
Starting from 25 June 2026, the following types of APIs will be deactivated:
- Order submission — active API keys will no longer be able to submit new buy or sell orders on the platform.
- Order cancellation — it will not be possible to cancel previously placed orders via API.
- Consultation of active orders — the APIs for consulting the open order book/portfolio will be deactivated.
Consultation APIs not connected to trading operations will remain active. By way of example, integrations for tax calculation, balance inquiries, and transaction history will continue to function normally.
Reactivation expected in the fourth quarter of 2026
The reactivation of the service is planned by the end of 2026, featuring an API set aligned with the MiCAR services offered by Young Platform.
The exact reopening date will be defined and communicated with adequate notice through Young Platform’s official channels.
Users operating via API will receive a dedicated update containing further details regarding the timeline and transition procedures to the new set.
What you can do in the meantime
- If you have bots or integrations running on your account, please take 25 June 2026 into account when managing them.
- Retain the logs and documentation of your current integrations: you will need them to replicate the configuration on the new set.
- If you have a specific use case (high frequency, high volumes, custom integrations) that requires coordination during the transition, please open a support ticket here: support.youngplatform.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Regulatory Context
The suspension and redesign of the API infrastructure are part of Young Platform’s alignment process with Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 (MiCAR). The current APIs were designed for a service scope predating the entry into force of MiCAR. The new set will be built from the ground up to meet the requirements of the European regulatory framework.
