What is Blur (BLUR)
Blur is the token of one of the most used NFT marketplaces on Ethereum, which quickly became a sector reference for trading volumes. A distinctive feature of the platform is the removal of fees for NFT trading.
Note: Blur is not currently supported by Young Platform; this page is purely informational. BLUR is also the marketplace’s governance token: holders can take part in decisions through the DAO.
How it began
The platform was launched in October 2022 on Ethereum, with the goal of competing with established NFT marketplaces. The founder is Tieshun Roquerre (known as “Pacman”); the project raised funds from investors including Paradigm.
