Delisting

Delisting is the removal of a crypto-asset from a trading platform, which, as a result, stops the platform from making it available for trading by its users. It is the opposite process to listing.

A platform may proceed with a delisting for various reasons, such as low liquidity, technical issues, regulatory compliance issues, or the discontinuation of the underlying project. Generally, a notice period is provided during which users can transfer or sell the crypto-asset in question.
